Death comes so suddenly that you fail to realize how precious life is. This week i just lost my two aunts to cancer. Both of them were fighting the cancer for some time now. Suddenly when you lose someone you cared about, you look into your own life, and think of what we have offered to this world. I always wonder why we do that? may be we want our footprint to leave behind in this world. At this moment I give my prayers to both of my aunts. Even Though they left this world, their memories still hangs around in this world.
So sorry to read about your Aunts!
ReplyDeleteI recently lost my father to pancreatic cancer in January just a day after 2014 New year! Your right, "death" is a life changing event, it affects everyone around them and you start pondering as to what was left behind in the earth.
I learned at an early age that we all have a purpose in the world. Do the best that you can and be immensely devoted to something your passionate about, no matter what it is. Be nice and respectful to others and you will be blessed and remembered ! I always want to leave a positive impression on people I come across in my life and help in any way I can, that help will be there for me one day.
God Bless you and my prayers are with your Aunts, Merv!

I agree life is precious. People don't realize how special it really is until a loved one is gone. I lost three of my really close friends when I was in high school in a drunk driver car accident. It was the most saddest thing I've gone through everyone in the town came to their funeral. It just made me realize how short life really is.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your Aunts. I feel exactly the same when i lost my late husband to lung cancer. It wasnt an easy journey but him departing so early and left me alone helps me to be stronger that I ever was.
